Deaddiction Therapy

De-addiction therapy is intended to help addicted individuals stop compulsive drug seeking and use. Treatment can take many different forms, and last for different lengths of time. Because drug addiction is typically a chronic disorder characterized by occasional relapses, a short-term, one-time treatment is usually not sufficient. For many, treatment is a long-term process that involves multiple interventions and regular monitoring.

For those who still think they are in complete control of their substance use, but the reality in the other way around, or those who lack motivation, Motivation enhancement therapy (MET) is suggested. And to those individuals, who are fully aware of their substance addiction and tried and failed (relapsed) to stop substance use Relapse prevention therapy (RPT) is suggested.
